About Us
U Turn by Faith for Women, Inc. was founded by Angela Walker, a woman of unshakable faith who turned her own trials into a testimony of triumph. After experiencing the challenges of abuse, homelessness, and starting life over, Angela made a promise to God — that once she found her way back, she would reach back to help others do the same.
That promise became U Turn by Faith for Women, a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering women in crisis to rebuild their lives with dignity, faith, and hope.
To help women facing homelessness, domestic violence, addiction recovery, or life after incarceration make a full “U-turn” toward healing, stability, and success — through faith-centered programs that restore mind, body, and spirit. We believe no woman is too broken, too lost, or too far gone for God to redeem. Every setback can become a setup for a comeback.
To create a community where every woman is safe, seen, and supported — spiritually, emotionally, and economically. Through mentorship, housing, education, and empowerment, we guide women toward independence and purpose, one step at a time.
God is the foundation of all healing and transformation.

Since its founding, U Turn by Faith has helped women transition from crisis to stability through faith-based counseling, transitional housing, job readiness programs, and spiritual mentorship.

Faith isn’t just part of what we do — it’s who we are. Together, we’re creating a future where every woman can rewrite her story, reclaim her worth, and rise again through faith.
